In simple terms, you will be helping design systems that make it easier for women to detect and respond to breast health issues early.

Track 2: Laboratory Science and Health Systems

This track is for students in medical laboratory science, biochemistry, microbiology, pharmacy, and biological sciences.

You will contribute to a pilot project focused on improving cervical cancer prevention in Nigeria by integrating HPV testing into existing HIV laboratory systems.

Your responsibilities may include supporting sample collection and handling processes, monitoring laboratory workflows and test processes, tracking equipment, reagents, and supplies, helping ensure timely delivery of test results, documenting operational challenges and improvements, and supporting coordination between clinics and laboratories.

In simple terms, you will help strengthen how health tests are processed and delivered so patients can get faster and more reliable results.
